For an altogether different experience arrange your wedding in Vietnam, one of the most beautiful countries in South Asia. I first visited Vietnam in the mid 90’s, I set up home and moved my photography business here in 2002. Destination weddings started to take off a few years later and I was one of the first western photographers to be capturing these events. During 8 years here I traveled to all 58 provinces in Vietnam whilst living in Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

Ha Long Bay
Ha Long Bay (Descending Dragon bay) is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes and was recently voted one of the Top 10 Romantic Destinations in the world. Today the Emeraude offers a romantic cruise on board a luxurious replica steamer, meticulously designed to evoke the nostalgic charm of colonial Indochina.
Vietnam’s spectacular and seemingly endless stretch of sand provides the most memorable setting for weddings and special events. Four Seasons (formerly Nam Hai) creates dinners from 10 to 200 around their three tiered pools and throughout the tropical gardens.
Evason Ana Mandara & Six Senses Spa at Nha Trang offers a wedding ceremony on the beach or jetty with a sunset cruise. Sister property Six Senses Hideaway Ninh Van Bay’s ceremony takes place in the resort’s wedding chapel, set on a hill with views over the bay.
At La Veranda Grand Mercure Resort and Spa, on the southern Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc, weddings are tailor-made to suit individual desires and can be anything from barefoot on the sand to grand and formal in the ballroom.
