Eliënne & Martin | COMO Point Yamu Phuket Wedding

COMO Point Yamu wedding in Phuket Thailand

Eliënne & Martin had their wedding at the incredible COMO Point Yamu in Phuket , Thailand. The bride and groom chose some of the best resorts in Thailand. They held the wedding welcome party the night before at the classy Trisara on the other side of the island.
Nestled at Cape Yamu’s tip, COMO Point Yamu, Phuket offers stunning views of the Andaman Sea and Phang Nga Bay. An Italian designer, Paola Navone, made modern pool villas that blend contemporary style with Thai culture.
Navone’s design matches the modern and sleek architecture of the resort on the peaceful Andaman Seaside. With a focus on the breathtaking sea view, this contemporary Thai resort stands out for weddings on the less-traveled part of Phuket island.

COMO Point Yamu Phuket Wedding Venue

COMO Point Yamu offers an ideal clifftop wedding setting in Thailand. It blends contemporary and traditional Thai ceremonies with stylish touches. The venue’s stunning lobby features massive hanging white lobster traps.
This private retreat is away from busy tourist areas and ensures an interruption-free wedding venue. The Lawn provides a natural, open space with the breathtaking backdrop of the Andaman Sea for your ceremony. COMO Point Yamu has one of the most spectacular backdrops I have photographed a wedding at.
Fresh flower petals, storm lanterns, and twinkling nightlights create a charming wedding aisle. All wedding menus feature COMO Shambhala Cuisine for your guests’ energizing dining experiences.

Cape Yamu Beach Phuket

Cape Yamu Beach is northeast of Phuket City, north of Coconut Island. Situated on the north side of the peninsula, this area boasts several luxury villas and is generally serene with fewer visitors. Cape Yamu is not a top vacation destination, contributing to its calm and relaxed atmosphere. It’s a pleasant spot on Phuket’s east side where you can enjoy the water and catch glimpses of nearby islands.
Cape Yamu is a serene haven, offering both tranquility and nearby adventures. Explore the wonders of Phang Nga Bay through island-hopping and boat trips from the nearby marinas. For fresh air, visit Khao Phra Thaeo National Park, home to the Bang Pae Waterfall and the Gibbon Rehabilitation Centre. Golf enthusiasts can tee off at Mission Hills, a 20-minute drive away. You can reach Phuket’s lively restaurants, shops, and entertainment spots by car.
Cape Yamu is a special place in Phuket to enjoy beautiful nature and luxurious villas. It creates a unique and separate world. I love taking photographs in Cape Yamu, where COMO Point Yamu lies. There are few places on the east coast of Phuket, except Phuket Town, that interest tourists, so it retains a local feel. The views reach out to Phang Nga Bay, a beautiful spot to photograph.

COMO Point Yamu Photographer

A little while after their beautiful COMO Point Yamu wedding, I returned to the stunning wedding venue for a couple’s photoshoot. We also headed into nearby picturesque Phuket Town.
Colorful 19th-century shophouses and Sino-Portuguese buildings line Thalang Road in Phuket Old Town. Built in 1903 by a wealthy tin merchant, Baan Chinpracha mansion has Italian floor tiles and antique furniture. Set in a 1930s manor, the Thai Hua Museum has exhibits on Phuket’s culture and history.
