5 Gorgeous Cambodia Wedding Destination

As a Cambodia wedding photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph weddings in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Kampot, Kep, and Song Saa.

I recommend this gorgeous country as the perfect destination to get married. With its breathtaking scenery and cultural heritage, Cambodia is ideal for destination weddings.

1: Siem Reap & Angkor Wat

Angkor Wat, a Great Wonder of the World, is a breathtaking temple complex. Its massive size and artistic significance make it a must-visit. It stands as a testament to ancient civilizations’ grandeur and artistic prowess.

I love photographing in Siem Reap; there is a relaxed vibe and a great collection of wedding venues. For those seeking a more boutique-style wedding, The Bunwin is the perfect location. The hotel is in the heart of town and provides a stylish setting for a Cambodian wedding. If you’re drawn to Angkor Wat’s rich history and breathtaking beauty or are looking for a chic venue, you’ll find it ideal.

Get married in an exotic and unforgettable setting on Cambodia’s southern coast. Tropical islands dot the coastline, and the highlight is Song Saa.

Song Saa Private Island offers a one-of-a-kind setting for couples looking to get married in paradise. The pristine beaches and stunning scenery of the South China Sea are your wedding backdrops.

Song Saa is one of the most stunning wedding venues I have ever photographed a wedding at. The Private Island provides the perfect setting for a destination wedding.

3: Knai Bang Chatt Lifestyle Resort in Kep

Escape to a world of serenity and pure luxury at Knai Bang Chatt, an exquisite lifestyle resort on Cambodia’s southeast coastline. In the charming town of Kep, this resort offers the perfect blend of privacy, serenity, and exclusivity for your wedding day.

It is a beautiful oceanfront setting, and I love the low-key feel of Knai Bang Chatt. As a bonus, you’re only minutes from the best crab restaurants in the world!

4: Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital, is home to some fantastic sights. The Royal Palace, National Museum, and many stunning temples make it perfect for a wedding.

One of the reasons I love Phnom Penh is its unique cultural richness, blending Khmer, French, and Chinese influences. The city is full of character, which adds to your Cambodia wedding photographs. Additionally, the warm hospitality of the Cambodian people makes couples and their guests feel welcome and at ease.

5: Kampot

My favorite wedding destination in Cambodia is the sleepy town of Kampot. I loved photographing a destination wedding there at Villa Vedici Kampot.

Villa Vedici is minutes from Kampot’s city center, the Old French Quarter, and Kampot Central Market. Based on the natural green beauty of Kampot, Villa Vedici is a riverfront resort. The villa features swimming pools and a riverside terrace with panoramic views of the Bokor mountains.
