Rangefinder’s 30 Rising Stars Award

Rangefinder’s 30 Rising Stars

Delighted to be included in Rangefinder’s 30 Rising Stars wedding photographers. Winning images from Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.
“We are ecstatic to finally be able to share the names of this year’s unbelievable talent that make up our 30 Rising Stars! For our part, of all the competition judging we do every year, picking just 30 honorees from 200 unbelievable submissions is always the most difficult.” Some elements that nominators and judges look for in submissions are real emotions from subjects. Uniquely interesting compositions and perspectives, and a fearless sense of experimentation in their work.
“For me, I look for images that take my breath away, have what I call a ‘gut-punch’ impact, and are fresh and timeless.” Editor-in-Chief of Rangefinder, Jacqueline Tobin. The panel of judges dedicated three weeks to viewing and discussing over 6,000 images.

Rangefinder Magazine

The list includes photographers from various genres such as wedding photography. The selection process involves nominations from industry experts and editors. Then follows a review of the nominees’ portfolios and a final selection by the Rangefinder editorial team.
Making it onto the Rangefinder’s list of “30 Rising Stars” is a noteworthy achievement that can offer exposure and create opportunities for photographers to further their careers in the industry.
