Brian & Aneela married at the beautiful Sarojin Resort in Khao Lak, Phang Nga province, Thailand. The intrepid travelers came from the United States and Trinidad. They flew halfway across the world for their special wedding elopement.

A few years later, they invited me along to capture their anniversary trip to Jordan. They’ve traveled together to more than 30 countries since their wedding (and 55 since they first met). Yet, Jordan was the unique destination they chose to celebrate their milestone anniversary.

Khao Lak boasts mesmerizing sunsets and has many beaches. The beaches include Memories Beach, Had Nang Thong, Khao Lak Lighthouse, Kuek Kak Beach, Pak Weep Beach, and Bang Sak Beach. The name “Khao Lak,” translating to ‘Main Mountain,’ originates from an ancient peak used by seafarers as a navigational landmark.
