Andrew & Kenji | The Surin Phuket Wedding in Thailand

The Surin Phuket Wedding

Andrew and Kenji celebrated their wonderful wedding at The Surin Phuket in Thailand. Despite reaching out in 2019, they had to wait almost five years for their dream wedding! Originating from Hong Kong, they gathered their family and friends in Southern Thailand at the beautiful The Surin in Phuket. Pansea Beach was the stunning backdrop for their wedding ceremony, and they partied the night away at the Beach Restaurant.
The exceptional Hong Kong’s The Wedding Company team orchestrated the magical event. Thailand’s premier florist, IAMFLOWER, arranged stunning floral decorations. The talented soul artist Eka Soundz delivered the entertainment in the evening. Mattography came over from Hong Kong to capture the film, and the legend Mr Aht helped with his fantastic photography!

The Surin Phuket Weddings

Phuket, Thailand’s largest island in the Andaman Sea, is often called the ‘Pearl of the Andaman.’ Pansea Beach, tucked away on Phuket’s west coast, is a hidden gem with crystal-clear turquoise waters and pristine white sand.
I love the way The Surin retains its unpretentious yet sophisticated ambiance. The Pansea (1982 – 1995) was one of Phuket’s first luxury hotels on a quiet, undiscovered island. Renamed The Chedi (1995 – 2011), it received upgrades under Tuttle’s guidance.
In 2011, The Surin emerged, integrating local materials and Thai designs. The resort lacks elevators, offering guests pathways through tropical foliage. Western influences, like herringbone floors and dramatic lighting, enhance the resort’s elegance.
The Surin is an enchanting venue for a magical Thailand wedding. Intimate ceremonies take place against Phuket’s natural beauty.

The Surin Phuket Wedding Photographer

As a Phuket wedding photographer, I love capturing weddings at The Surin Phuket. With its secluded beach and breathtaking sunsets, it’s the ideal setting for Thailand island weddings.
At The Surin Phuket, couples can have a sunset ceremony on Pansea Beach. Or, they can opt for a traditional Thai ceremony with a drum procession and blessings from Buddhist monks.
Khun Bat and the team are fantastic and ensure the wedding day runs smoothly. The Surin comes highly recommended!
