Nat & Cha | The Rachamankha Chiang Mai Wedding

Wedding at The Rachamankha Chiang Mai

Nat and Cha had a beautiful wedding in Chiang Mai at The Rachamankha. Taking place during the Yee Peng and Loi Krathong festivals made it even more special. The elegant and historic Rachamankha Hotel was a stunning backdrop for their wedding in Thailand.
The Yee Peng festival of lights involves releasing thousands of lanterns into the night sky. A mesmerizing sight!
Thousands of candle-lit floats onto the river during the Loi Krathong festival. Nat and Cha’s wedding was beautiful and serene, with elements of festivals, lanterns, and floating candles.

Chiang Mai Wedding Day

We began with an early morning trip to Doi Suthep, a mountain with lush green forests and a picturesque temple. We had a Chiang Mai photoshoot against the sunrise in the North of Thailand.
Afterward, the couple and their guests returned to the city for a visit to a temple. The stunning Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan is a 14th-century Buddhist temple. They received a traditional blessing from the monks, adding a sacred and meaningful touch to their wedding day.
As the day drew to a close, Nat and Cha returned to The Rachamankha to set off komloy lanterns. It was a beautiful and romantic way to end their wedding celebration. The Rachamankha provided the perfect backdrop for this magical wedding.

The Rachamankha Chiang Mai

The Rachamankha Hotel in Chiang Mai is beautiful and located in the heart of the city’s old moated area. Its central location was a short stroll from the stunning Wat Phra Singh, where their morning ceremony took place.
One of the Rachamankha Hotel’s most unique features is its peaceful and private atmosphere, which is rare in a city hotel. A welcome respite for Nat, Cha, and their wedding guests.
The hotel’s architecture is also a standout feature, paying tribute to Chiang Mai’s golden age during the Lanna period. Rachamankha has a unique sense of place and adds to the experience for wedding guests.
